Winnie A-line Cowl Knee-Length Chiffon Cocktail Dress With Beading Sequins STIP0020967

Bought this in dusk because it was in my daughters wedding palate. I am 5'3, 110lbs, bought size 8 for the bust and fits great. Concern is only that it can not be washed or dry cleaned, only spot. Wanted to wash before wearing but can't risk it.

This was the dress I wore on the evening of my 40th wedding anniversary. In England this is known as a Ruby anniversary. The dress fitted perfectly. Ordering was easy; delivery was punctual and the dress was greatly admired on the night.

This was my first time ordering from JJ's House or from China, period. I've always been skeptical of sites like this. So my expectations were a bit low. But my experience was a DREAM and showed me I had nothing to fear.

Couple of prominent points:
1) SIZING: My body measurements were more like a 6, but I ordered a 4 and it is still just a teensy bit loose. This is actually ok... the armholes don't gap and the neckline has enough structure behind the drapey part that I won't need any alterations. So it ends up being perfectly comfortable with a little more breathing room than I'd expect. #Win!

2) SHIPPING: When I read that the dress would only be sewn after I placed the order, and that it would take 12 days plus shipping, I thought, "Yeah, right. I bet it'll arrive at least a week late." It did not. It arrived on the EXACT day that I counted up would be the earliest to expect it. #Win!

3) DRESS DETAILS: (1) The Bling: I expected the belt decoration to be metal, but it is made of beads. As one other reviewer noted, it's super easy to remove if you don't want it. (2) Built-in Bra Cups: This wasn't clear to me from the description, but this dress has padded bra cups built in, meaning it can be worn without a bra and still be super flattering and extra comfortable. #Win! (3) The fabric: The dress has 3 layers of fabric: It's fully lined from the shoulders to the hem. Then there is a satiny material, and then it's covered all over with a light crepe or mesh-like material. Caution: All this fabric does make the dress a bit hot to wear. It seems to resist being wrinkled, though, as it arrived with only minimal wrinkles. (4) The cut: The shoulders were a bit wide for me, so if I WAS going to have to wear a bra, this would be problematic to keep the straps hidden. Other than that, the cut is flattering and lovely. (5) The Color: Different bridesmaids from our party ordered different dresses in Royal Blue from JJ's House, and so far, they are all the same shade of color.

This dress was my 3rd order from JJ's House and loved it!! All dresses are very nicely done. I love the material and the finishes are beautiful, and I am a picky one. The colors are true to the pictures. I always received lots of compliments and I am already thinking on ordering more, including for my daughter. I ordered this dress in size 6 and it fits like a glove. I felt very comfortable wearing at a big New Year party... and I like dancing!! Looking forward ordering more! The only small thing I didn't like at this particular dress was the beading sequins at the belt, but I just removed it easily as it doesn't need it anyway. This way you can add any of your own jewelries and look great!
